About Diaspora

The aim of this community is to improve and enhance networks within various Diasporas and their related regions and countries, which can facilitate exchange of resources allowing for the social, economic and cultural development of these groups at the community level.  A network of people in the Diaspora community who address a range of issues of major importance to them.

• Contribute skills and knowledge to individuals and communities in your home country
• Find out about projects and initiatives in existence and promote those you are involved in.
• Encourage and motivate people to get involved in community efforts
• Improve on a cooperative and social enterprise type culture within the Diaspora and their home countries
• Improve interactions and networking among different Diaspora groups so they can assist each other and learn from each other
• Pool resources existing in your communities
